Shawnee State Park Campout – May 18-20

On May 18-20 we will be heading out to Shawnee Stat Park for camping and REQUIRED backpacking for those scouts heading to high adventure this year. Please review the attached PDF for more information on dates and times, etc.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday May 3rd from 6:30 to 8:00 at Northeast Community Church. Please come prepared to continue working on your advancement and merit badges.
Last week we did some Orienteering work, we might continue doing that work so please come prepared to continue that.
And as usual please wear your Class A or Class B uniform. If you do a flag ceremony for advancement please make sure you are wearing your Class A shirt.

On Saturday April 21st four of our Boy Scouts were publically called out in a very solemn event up at Ft. Ancient. The next step for these scouts in their OA path is the OA Ordeal which challenges them like no other scouting experience has.
